Use a verified phone number or email address plus your own confirmation. No ID photo is required, and you still get the verified badge and a matching boost.
You may voluntarily upload a clear original image of a passport, ID card, diploma or employment proof, for review and for the mutually agreed trust exchange. The trust exchange screen alerts the other party if a screenshot or screen recording is detected.
The first pass is AI-assisted: the document image you upload is compressed on our server and sent to the Volcengine Ark vision model (ark.cn-beijing.volces.com, operated by ByteDance, servers in Beijing, China) to judge whether the material is relevant to the verification type you chose. A human review follows. If you are not comfortable with this, choose lightweight verification and do not upload a document.
Document images are kept for review and for the mutually agreed trust exchange, and are deleted when you delete your account. Pending submissions older than 72 hours are purged.
A tax-record screenshot from the Individual Income Tax app is preferred over bank statements. Income verification is entirely optional.
Declining every form of verification still leaves chat, matching and all other core features fully available. Verification only affects trust display and recommendation ranking.
